Wendy S. Hardt

Wendy S. Hardt has been an associate attorney at Michael R. Kluck & Associates since 1996. She represents both public and private employers on a wide variety labor and employment law matters before state and federal courts.
Ms. Hardt represents clients on issues involving civil litigation, employment law, and labor relations. She has extensive experience counseling employers on compliance with a variety of labor and employment statutes and regulations such as the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act, the Michigan Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act, Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Michigan Whistleblowers Protection Act, and the Bullard-Plawecki Employee Right to Know Act. Ms. Hardt also represents management companies in matters related to their landlord-tenant responsibilities.
Ms. Hardt has made presentations to the Michigan Townships Association, the Michigan County Road Commission Self-Insurance Pool, and the County Road Association of Michigan. Ms. Hardt authored an employment practices manual used by the Michigan County Road Commission Self-Insurance Pool.
Prior to joining Michael R. Kluck & Associates, Ms. Hardt was an associate attorney with James Dunn & Associates. She specialized in the representation of transportation clients, including public transit agencies, railroads, and ferry operators.
Ms. Hardt graduated cum laude and received her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Dallas.
